    Q: What is AWS Training?
    AWS Training can help you advance your knowledge with practical skills so you can get more out of the cloud. We offer a range of training modalities, locations, and languages to suit your needs. You can attend an instructor-led course to learn best practices, get live feedback, and hear answers to your questions from an expert. All our content updated regularly to keep pace with AWS’ constant innovation so you can be sure you’re learning the latest and you can keep your cloud skills fresh.     Q: How can I find and register for training?
    Customers can find and register for classes in the AWS Training and Certification Portal. To see all available training, log in to the AWS Training and Certification Portal and click on “Find Training” in the top navigation menu. Search for the training you are interested in using the search filters, and click “Find a Class” or “View Details” (depending on the type of offering) to view all of the offerings made available by both Amazon Web Services and our Authorized Training Partners.

    APN Partners can find Partner Training and register for classes by accessing the AWS Training and Certification Portal by logging in with their APN Portal credentials.

    Q: Where are AWS Training classes available?
    Training is available across the globe with classes delivered by either AWS or our Authorized Training Partners. You can search for training by country in the AWS Training and Certification Portal.

    Q: How can I view or manage my training?
    To view or manage your training, you must first be logged into the AWS Training and Certification Portal. After you are logged in, click on “My Transcript” in the top navigation menu. The “Current” tab will show all of your active training registrations and the “Archived” tab will show all of your completed and past trainings.

    Q: Is there a cost associated with AWS Training?
    Some courses include a registration fee. Review individual course descriptions for complete details.

    Q: What methods of payment are accepted?
    We accept payment for AWS-delivered Training by credit card only, in USD (US, Brazil), GBP (UK), EUR (Germany), and JPY (Japan). A valid credit card must be provided at the time of registration. We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.

    Q. Where can I find information about Partner Training?
    If you are an APN Partner, go here to learn more about partner training. APN Partners can also find Partner Training information training in the APN Portal or by going to the AWS Training and Certification Portal and logging in with APN Portal credentials. For questions about your APN Portal account, search the APN Knowledge Base.

    Q: What is private onsite training?
    Private onsite training can help your team meet your business objectives sooner. We can work with you to develop a training strategy, and then bring a dedicated instructor directly to you to train your staff. Contact us to request a private onsite training class for your organization.

    Q: Does AWS offer discounts on private onsite training?
    We offer discounts on private onsite training based on the number of students in a class. Please contact us for more information.

    AWS offers certifications for you to validate knowledge and showcase your technical expertise.     Q: Can I record presentations during an AWS Training class?
    No. All content, including without limitation any courseware, presentations, and/or labs of Amazon Web Services training classes are the proprietary and confidential property of Amazon Web Services (AWS). They may not be copied, reproduced, modified, published, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without the express written authorization of AWS. Registrants must also accept the terms and conditions of AWS Training Agreement during the AWS Training and Certification Portal account registration process.

    Q: What is the new AWS Training and Certification Portal?
    The AWS Training and Certification Portal allows you to access and manage your training and certification activities, progress, and benefits – all in one place. Previously, you had to rely on multiple sites to find and manage our training and certification offerings. Now you have a central place where you can find and enroll in AWS Training, register for AWS Certification exams, track your learning progress, and access benefits based on the AWS Certifications you have achieved. This makes it easier for you to build your AWS Cloud skills and advance toward earning AWS Certification.

    Q: When and where can I access the new AWS Training and Certification Portal?
    The new AWS Training and Certification Portal is available at https://www.aws.training/ as of Monday, May 15.

    Q: I’m an AWS customer. How do I access the AWS Training and Certification Portal?
    To sign in or create your account:

    1. Go to the AWS Training and Certification Portal.
    2. Click “Sign In” on the top right corner.
    3. Create a new account or sign in using an existing Amazon account. This includes credentials for your Amazon retail account, AWS account, or any account that uses the “Login and Pay with Amazon” widget (such as Woot or Zappos).
    4. Complete your account profile if you are signing in for the first time.

    Q: Does creating an account in the AWS Training and Certification Portal create an AWS account for me?
    No, but you may use the same credentials later to create an AWS account. Go here to learn more about creating an account to access the AWS Console.

    Q: I’m an APN Partner. How do I access the AWS Training and Certification portal?
    As an APN Partner, you can sign in to the AWS Training and Certification Portal with your APN Portal credentials. You can also access the portal via the “Training” tab in the APN Portal. Your previous AWS Training history has been automatically migrated into the new AWS Training and Certification Portal. Once you are signed in, click “My Transcript” to view your previous training history. You can click “Certification” to register for certification exams.

    Q: I’m an Amazon employee. How do I access the AWS Training and Certification portal?
    If you are an Amazon employee, you can sign into the AWS Training and Certification Portal here while logged on to the Amazon network.

    Q: I already have an AWS Training account. How can I access my AWS Training history?
    Once you have created an AWS Training and Certification Portal account, you can migrate your previous AWS Training records with a few simple steps:

    1. Sign in to the portal and go to “My Account”.
    2. Click the link to “Migrate your previous AWS Training history”.
    3. Follow the prompts to migrate your training history.
    4. Once you are done, click the “My Transcript” tab to view your training history.

    If you are an APN Partner or Amazon employee, you do not need to complete these steps. Your previous training history will automatically be migrated into the portal.

    Q: Do I need my previous AWS Training portal username to migrate my training history? What if I don’t have it?
    Yes, you need your previous AWS Training portal username to migrate your AWS Training history to your new AWS Training and Certification Portal account. If you have access to the email address associated with your AWS Training account, you can check your email for messages with the subjects “Upcoming Changes to AWS Training and Certification Portal” and “New AWS Training and Certification Portal – Set Up Your Account”. Your AWS Training portal username was included in these communications to you.

    If you can’t find your username in your email, you can contact us and we will get back to you within two business days.

    Q: How do I find training in the new AWS Training and Certification Portal?
    From the homepage of the AWS Training and Certification Portal, click on “Find Training” in the top navigation to search for a training you are interested in.

    Q: How can I view my upcoming and previously completed training?
    Once you have created an AWS Training and Certification Portal account and you have migrated your previous AWS Training records, you can click “My Transcript” to view your upcoming and previous training history.

    Q: I was in progress with a web-based training. Will it still be available in the new portal?
    Yes, once you have migrated your training history, you will be able to access and continue in progress web-based training. Any modules you have already finished will be marked as completed. Any in progress modules will start from the beginning.

    Q: Why am I not receiving training registration confirmations or reminders?
    You must create an account in the new AWS Training and Certification Portal to receive registration confirmations or reminders. If you signed up for a class in our previous AWS Training portal, be sure to migrate your AWS Training history to receive confirmations and reminders for those classes.

    Q: How do I set up a new AWS Certification account?
    Once you have set up your main AWS Training and Certification Portal account, you can also create an AWS Certification account to schedule AWS Certification exams and manage your AWS Certification credentials. If you do not have a previous AWS Certification account on Webassessor, you can get started by creating a new account.

    1. Sign in to the portal and click “Get Certified” in the navigation.
    2. Click “Manage Your AWS Certification Account”.
    3. Click the “New AWS Certification Account” button and follow the prompts to get set up.

    Q: I already have an AWS Certification account in Webassessor. How do I access my AWS Certification history?
    Once you have set up your AWS Training and Certification Portal account, if you also have an AWS Certification Webassessor account, you will need to link your Webassessor exam history.

    1. Sign in to the portal and click “Certification” in the navigation.
    2. Click “Manage Your AWS Certification Account”.
    3. Follow the prompts to link your certification history.
    4. Once you are done, from your AWS Certification Account, click “View My Certifications” to view your exam history.

    Q: What if I don’t know my Webasessor email address or I don’t have access to that email account?
    Please contact us and we will get back to you within two business days.

    Q: I previously had more than one AWS Training account. Can I merge my previous account records and then migrate both accounts into the new portal?
    Yes, please contact us and we will get back to you within two business days.

    Q: I have more than one AWS Certification Webassessor account. Can I merge my account records and then link both account histories into the new portal?
    Yes, please contact us and we will get back to you within two business days.

    Q: How do I access my AWS Certification account/history?
    Once you have linked your Webassessor exam history, all exam history can be found by clicking on the “Schedule and Manage Exams” tab.

    Q: How do I schedule an exam with this new portal?
    After setting up your AWS Certification Account, click “Schedule and Manage Exams” to schedule a new exam.

    Q: Why can’t I log in to Webassessor? How can I access Webassessor going forward?
    You will now register for exams and manage your AWS Certification Account through the AWS Training and Certification Portal, rather than through Webassessor. To link your previous AWS Certification Webassessor history:

    1. Sign in to the portal and click “Certification” in the navigation.
    2. Click “Manage Your AWS Certification Account”.
    3. Follow the prompts to link your certification history.
    4. Once you are done, from your AWS Certification Account, click “View My Certifications” to view your exam history.

    Q: I received a voucher code for AWS Training and it doesn’t work. What do I do?
    Previous training voucher codes will not be accepted in the new AWS Training and Certification Portal. Please contact us if you experience an issue redeeming a voucher code.

    Q: I am an AWS Activate or AWS Educate member. I do not see my program benefits in my new AWS Training and Certification Portal account. How can I fix this?
    If you previously had an account on the AWS Training Portal and have not yet migrated your previous training history into the new AWS Training and Certification Portal, you will not yet see your program benefits. Here are the steps to migrate your history:

    Step One: Sign In to the New AWS Training and Certification Portal
    1. Go to the AWS Training and Certification Portal.
    2. Click “Sign In” on the top right corner.
    3. Create a new account or sign in using an existing Amazon account. This includes credentials for your Amazon retail account, AWS account, or any account that uses the “Login and Pay with Amazon” widget (such as Woot or Zappos).
    4. Complete your account profile if you are signing in for the first time.

    Step Two: Migrate your Previous AWS Training History
    1. Sign in to the portal and go to “My Account”.
