Incredibly horrible support
We've been having issues with this product over the last few month, and trying to reach out for support all the time. Neither raising priority, nor escalating this to Broadcom management (who is now owner of Symantec) helps. I guess change of ownership contributes to the problem, but there is still no excuse for ignoring your customers.
Stay away if you can.

Symantec refuses to provide technical support
Despite of this ".. you have access to the latest security content updates and 24x7x365 technical support. You can contact Symantec Support at
https://support.symantec.com/en_US/contact-support.html", Symantec has refused to provide technical support for this product, stating that we have to get support thru AWS.

I'm the process of building a proof of concept. Users uploads files to a website; a huge risk, I know. I make use of Symantec's CWP to scan all files after they are placed into an S3 bucket and well before any internal user interacts with the files. I had issues in the beginning with setup, however, Symantec was right there to help out. They even had me work with internal staff to determine what was wrong. Symantec wanted to make sure they didn't miss something. Further, some of the documentation was ambiguous, and again, Symantec wanted to know exactly where so they can clear things up.

Anti-Malware for your S3 Buckets
I would like to say that the support from Symantec has been outstanding. With how new cloud technology is and the feeling of being overwhelmed with all the options out there, this was a breathe of fresh air having outstanding support. The Symantec team has gone above and beyond to implement and setup the CWP in our environment and have the first class security for your S3 needs. I would recommend this product for S3 security needs and applaud the quality of support from Symantec. They will make sure your setup is secure and will test to prove working as intended and the cost is worth it for the security and peace of mind.
If you are looking to secure S3 Buckets, this is the place to be. Reach out to their support with any questions and you will not regret the choice. I am a happy customer through and through.
Unusable from the start
Painfull registration process: You end up on symantec's web site at the wrong place (We wanted to used Workload protection for storage, we ended up at the Workload Protection (not for storage))
Once we managed to fin the appropriate page to register, we discovered that the web site does not manage accented characters in People's name. We can live with that, but that shows how much this company seems to care about foreign language clients.
Then, when we finally manage to get to the Symanted product console and discovered that you have to gie it AWS credentials, we said: We should activate multi factor auth on tha control panel website... Click on the link to activate MFA, you end up on a page that says: activate MFA in the "My profile" page... click the link, end up on an about:blank page ! Now tell me about a security conscious company.
And there are no ways to try to get any support. Ended up on some chat support web page for which nothing happens when you click !

The registration process cannot be completed unless you have a North America address.
Symantec sales or support cannot seem to help or offer any guidance other than to call a re-seller.
Appears a good product, great shame
EC2 and S3 Security from the same console...
S3 is critical to our services running on AWS. Symantec's CWP for S3 ensures our buckets are clean and secure. In addition, we can manage our EC2 instances and buckets security from the same console. Great job with this new service!
