Druva makes it easy to back up SharePoint and Exchange mailboxes
What do you like best about the product?
With an easy to use interface, Druva provides a centralized hub where we can manage our Exchange mailboxes and SharePoint sites - selecting which ones we want to backup. Restoring data is easy to do as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface to use Druva is somewhat cluttered with other features that we don't use. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, because at some point we might want to use those features, and remaining aware of their existence is helpful to an extent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva gives us the confidence that our data is safely stored, and that we can restore to points in time in the past if we need to. We had an accidental deletion of all content in a SharePoint site at one point, and using Druva, we were able to recover in a snap.

Managing our hybrid workloads on cloud platforms with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is satisfactory
What do you like best about the product?
It's relatively simple and straightforward to set up our integration with Insync Apps, cloud-native & hybrid workloads thanks to services offered by Druva. It provides remote access through its console for taking backups, restoration through snapshots and troubleshooting customer strenuosities. Since all its reporting is web-based, the accessibility from various platforms & devices is convenient and we can draw reports either in excel or pdf formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a few limitations in which we were able to perform backups on our AWS platform but were unable to restore it at a faster pace. We need to ensure that we properly close the program after doing our restoration activity otherwise there may be a backup failure. Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is easy to comprehend thanks to its intuitive UI dashboard and to handle our data-driven backup requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since it's a web-oriented platform, it benefits by administering our cloud workloads and provides excellent visibility of our backup status. It effectively eliminates our previous approach which was stressful manual data backup, now with Druva services we don't worry about scheduling and overviewing our backup & restore implementations. The elasticity & scalability features offered by Druva help us in having centralized data protection & hybrid workload management platform. It also doesn't require any additional hardware or software agent installation which makes it cost-efficient and less complex.

License costs are a little bit high. I think you should work on the user interface to make it interactive.

Advancepts includes Druva as a BDR Service Provider in Primary Offerings Catalogue.
What do you like best about the product?
Druva Phoenix is a dependable, enterprise grade backup solution. We have used many cloud/offsite backup solutions including Veeam for our clients but none as dependable as Druva. Veeam is a operationally & commercially non-inclusive solution; there are no such hidden commercially exclusive ideas with the Druva solution. We do not exclusively use Druva for all our clients, we use AWS S3 & Backblaze B2 as well but when we need a bundled, easy-managed, easy-transfer solution we always pitch with Druva.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
When storage is available with the customer; Druva is a constraint. I think there can be a way where only the solution from Druva can used and storage can be self-provisioned; along with the superb source de-dup abilities.
Very effective and easy to understand layout
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to onboard laptops and monitor updates and errors etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrading the clients. It takes long and you cant instantly upgrade a client from the console, it goes into a que which can take weeks to updgrade. We also had issues with the clients disappearing due to anti virus
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backing up of data and data retrieval while offsite

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are backing up our SharePoint online data. inSync is in the cloud, so it didn't take long for us to start backing up after receiving the backup requirements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is not suitable for backing up business systems because it cannot take static point backups.
However, it is ideal for easy backup of file servers.

Great solution, great company
We recently switched over to Druva from another backup provider in favor of the native AWS capabilities, ease of use, and great account and customer support. The product has been tremendous in our ability to manage multiple environments for multiple customers!
Overall a great backup solution
What do you like best about the product?
Druva does everything we need. We use it to back up all of our endpoints. It's not too difficult to administer, and our backups are stored securely in the cloud - eliminating the need for tapes, which was a big win for us. We also can control backup schedules, legal holds, and other settings via policies. The regular reporting and alerting capabilities help our teams address issues as they arise, which helps ensure all backups are working correctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small DLP component with Druva, but I think there is an opportunity to use the Druva agent for a more comprehensive DLP reporting capability. The agent is aware of all of the file activity on the endpoint, I would imagine, so why not have better reporting on the file movement and where files are moving? Alerting around this would be helpful as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we solved was not having an easy to manage, automated solution for backing up our endpoints. Druva's capabilities also give us assurance around the integrity and security of our backup sets.
