Druva is so helpful
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and architecture is great
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup is kind of a pain and getting around the learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I initially setup druva, I had set it up to backup a log file. Unknowingly I created a huge problem for our backups as they were getting too large to maintain.
inSync is easy to use and gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
inSync takes very little time to configure and launch, but the benefit is immediate with the peace of mind you get knowing your 365 infrastructure has a backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
The emails from the inSync platform are almost impossible to read and very clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to ensure our data was secure in case of accidental deletion.
An additional benefit of inSync is that it allows us to easily backup and restore entire SharePoint sites to other locations with ease.
An additional benefit of inSync is that it allows us to easily backup and restore entire SharePoint sites to other locations with ease.
Druva inSync is a great product to use for endpoint backup as well as protection of cloud services
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage and setup. Cloud based and straight forward operation. Protection of documents is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be CPU intensive at times is lots of data is backing up. It does not handle Application data as well as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WE are protecting user endpoints as well as cloud services (gsuite data). IT has made backup protection easy and allowed for migrations to new machines to be streamlined.
Druva Phoenix Review
What do you like best about the product?
I found the ease of setup and monitoring were great features . The ability to test and then view the status in a single pane was a big help once things were implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
The backup restoration procedure and requirements are greater and more time consuming than I would prefer but it's acceptable. Unfortunately I don't know of a way to make it happen more quickly. That's just something that is to be expected with any kind of software like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote backup of systems and endpoints was the issue that we needed to solve. Being able to centrally manage the endpoints especially was a benefit that we were lacking prior to using this software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely suggest people who are looking to solve the remotely managed backup requirements, especially of endpoints to take a look at this software.
Easy to manage, easy to monitor
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple implementation to backup local servers offsite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced features such as DR to AWS are a bit more complicated than what we first anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidate storage. Offsite storage. Reduce headache of managing backups.
Excellent VMWare backup solution with tested restore process
What do you like best about the product?
I specifically use Druva for VMWare vCenter, though it can also be used without vCenter, i.e. directly on ESXI hosts. I like the simple and straightforward setup of Druva proxies. The restore process is not perfect but pretty close (much better than other solutions). Druva also offers the ability to use multiple proxy VM's for increased redundancy. Lastly, these proxy VM's are prebuilt by Druva so deployment is very quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost if obviously a fairly big pain point for some organizations. I think Druva is scalable up to a certain level, and then building or buying a backup solution + using S3 buckets becomes more price effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup solution with the ability to make VM's highly transportable.
Druva's been great for us
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, set and forget. It's not failed any recovery efforts we've needed it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onprem version has been flawless for us. For our cloud instance, we've had the occasional support call to re-up storage but support and the account teams have always been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplicity of backup for legal hold needs and our road warriors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot, you'll like it!
I use it for my organization to backup personal workstations with business critical information.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to manage through the web portal. The cloud portion of it makes it great that we don't have to host anything and it all can be easily managed just by logging in. Also it is fast and up to date. The support and implementation team have also been great. Our account rep Daniel Rodriquez has also been fantastic and has always made sure we have everything we need as a customer. The Druva team overall has been very responsive, courteous and helpful and would definitely recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you were able to be more selective about what to back up on the workstation. It seemed a little difficult to put in logic around what files should be backed up and what shouldn't. Besides that I think it is very user friendly and makes it easy to manage everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently had an employee's machine wiped too soon and we lost critical data. This wouldn't happen again with inSync since we would know have that machine being backed up and would have a restore point in the cloud even if it was wiped physically. Also we have one workstation that we essentially use as a server to host a very small application. Since we are not able to back up this workstation with Phoenix due to it not having a server OS, we can use InSync to back up this workstation and can use this to restore the application should it crash.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would play around with it to see what you can do with the settings and see how it fits with your organization's needs.
Trevor has been incredible for our requirements
What do you like best about the product?
Works on or off VPN, cloud-based, Version control. It really is an excellent back up tool
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a super administrator function
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to back up user created laptop data that doesn’t get backed up to one drive. Plus it’s already in the cloud
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A superior cloud-based back up solution that is versatility and customization that is perfect for any small or large organization
