Great for advanced website monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
It''s basically hosted selenium so our existing tests work
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes other than perhaps cost. The checks/mo cost are a bit on the higher side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advanced monitoring of our website status, allowing control of the browser to do things like log on and check various parts of the site which trigger different back end components.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UI and lots of very useful info. In the overview you basically get all the info you need to know about how your app is performing. Installing is very easy and the performance breakdown info is priceless. Whenever something goes wrong you can see it in the charts, be it a bad piece of code, database query or just a nasty error.
Errors section needs special attention as you get detailed info on what went wrong and where.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance breakdown is only available for slow transactions. This is fine in most of the cases, but after you're done with the slow ones it's hard to get info on the fast ones. Also you need to push some basic info to New Relic as some important metrics are not gathered by default. Some concepts like APDEX and T-values are not very intuitive at first, but are cool when you know what you're dealing with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PHP application performance monitoring across multiple servers along with MySQL database cluster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The price, if you can afford it, it's totally worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
Having application monitoring is crucial to understanding how a system is performing, and understanding why it's performing this way. I use the transaction trace the most to find slow transactions and their cause. I also use the database section for long-running queries to find optimizations. Errors are also helpful to see what kind of errors users are seeing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can get a tight. Many layers of stack traces are hard to display. Also, the data is not "up to the second" fresh. It takes a few minutes to watch the charts update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve performance issues and exceptions in production using New Relic. Often, new relic points right to the problem if we know where to look. We've been able to find issues in minutes that would have taken days to find without monitoring.

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to implement and has very detailed monitoring and alerting systems

there were not too many options for client side moniting

We were using NewRelic for API, Database and Services monitoring. It was very useful finding the root cause of the issue

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of features you get allows you to dig into the most detailed aspects of your system.

The whole NRQL ability, plus the ability to finetune results is crazy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you feel overwhelmed when you look at so much data: simplifying the UX would be a great plus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use NPM to monitor all our production applications, and to get much needed data for analysis, feature planning and any other engineering/business related data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have not seen a more robust monitoring and data gathering tool out there.

I have been using New Relic for 2 years now and this is excellent monitoring tool, i have used so far in my career

I dont think there is anything to dislike as of now.

What do you like best about the product?
Drill down into information is pretty easy and useful, slow query log analysis is awesome, also the fact that you have insights in your server and in your user's browser at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation is a little bit complicated, specially in linux, and you don't always get the same result, none the less you are using the same linux distribution and you follow the same steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have increased our SLA from 98% to 99.99% we understand better our infrastructure and that allows us to offer a better service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Contact an executive, they get much better deals than the web page

What do you like best about the product?
We are able to see the amount of errors that we are getting and where they are happening at scale. New Relic is the first place we go when we get a support issue to get better insight to as what is going on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The date and time ranges for errors can be confusing. Easy to get to a target time/date but getting out seems to take me awhile every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get shorter downtime on the app because we can easily identify the problem and get a team on a fix asap.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to setup and provides deep integration with many frameworks and software. It's much easier to train developers on than other solutions and provides a wealth of alert options.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a large number of different services that can be difficult to navigate at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you depend on your application for your business having realtime insights into how they are performing is vital. New Relic provides those insights.
