Voicemail for Amazon Connect offers users an add-on voicemail solution that they can associate with their Amazon Connect instance. Customers start by deploying an AWS CloudFormation template to set up the architecture with necessary AWS services to provide Amazon Connect agents with voicemail features such as voicemail recordings and transcripts. The solution offers a visual interface for managers and administrators to configure the voicemail settings for the entire Amazon Connect instance and for each agent.
The solution deploys Amazon Kinesis Video Streams, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon Transcribe, and Amazon CloudFront, and uses Amazon Cognito for authentication.
