Endpoint detection and response

Secure and protect endpoints against zero-day exploits, attacks, and inadvertent data leakage.

Businesses need the ability to detect and prevent breaches from even the most sophisticated adversaries. Endpoint detect and response solutions offer real-time visibility and protection, enabling businesses to prevent, detect, and respond to threats to on-premise, virtualized, and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances.

CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection Premium, a comprehensive solution that bundles six stand-alone modules including Falcon Insight, and Falcon Discover, provides unified technology to stop breaches, including next-gen AV, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and IT hygiene solution that provides extensive visibility into Amazon EC2 instances.

Organizations require comprehensive and continuous real-time visibility. With Falcon Insight, organizations can achieve real-time and historical visibility across detection, response and forensics, so nothing is missed, and attackers have no place to hide.

Falcon Discover for AWS provides extensive visibility into Amazon EC2 instances while helping to improve overall security posture. One centralized view shows all existing Amazon EC2 instances to immediately identify security gaps. Using rich, AWS-specific context, organizations can triage quickly and respond to security events.

Falcon Endpoint Protection enables organizations to:

  • Replace existing legacy AV solutions: receive full protection against malware and malware-free attacks for online/offline endpoints in cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Understand context of alerts: identify an alert on a server, drill into the alert, pivot into host details and highlight all the AWS information that’s available.
  • Discover unprotected EC2 instances: Falcon Discover for AWS quickly enumerates existing EC2 deployments across all regions — including instances without the Falcon sensor installed — and subsequently monitors AWS cloud trail logs for any modifications to the environment.
  • Monitor and search metadata: use metadata to ensure consistency across EC2 instances and their respective security groups.
  • View EC2 launch rate over time: See what EC2 instances have been launched by day, week or month. Review the rate at which EC2 instances are being launched across all accounts and then drill into specific accounts.
