Shoppable Video on AWS with Amazon Anywhere

Shoppable video is an immersive experience for viewers that provides a seamless in-content shopping experience. When a user presses pause during video playback, an “X-Ray” like overlay is rendered in the lower-third displaying shoppable items identified in the current scene. AWS demonstrates this experience with a solution which supports integrations to e-commerce stores (including amazon.com, via the Amazon Anywhere API) and support for bring-your-own-store or bring-your-own-product-catalog models. The solution includes near real-time closed-loop attribution measurement, illustrating funnel & cart statistics and accretive revenue performance. Identification of shoppable images is simplified by automating the image recognition and metadata labeling processes.
