    1. SSH to the instance:

    • Use the public IP of your instance and log in as the 'ubuntu' user, using the private key you specified during instance launch.

    2. Run OS commands via SSH:

    • After logging in, use sudo to run any commands that require root access.

    3. Verify PostgreSQL installation:

    • To check the installed version of PostgreSQL, run the following command: sudo -u postgres psql -c "SELECT version();"

    This will display the version of PostgreSQL installed on your instance.
