An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
1. SSH to the instance:
- SSH into the instance using the public IP and log in as the 'ubuntu' user, using the private key specified during launch.
2. Run OS commands via SSH:
- Once logged in, use sudo to run commands that require root access.
3. Secure MySQL:
- To secure your MySQL installation, run the following command: mysql_secure_installation This will guide you through setting up a root password, removing insecure default settings, and improving MySQL security.
4. Access the MySQL CLI:
- After securing MySQL, you can access the MySQL command-line interface (CLI) by running: mysql -u root -p You will be prompted for the root password you just set during the mysql_secure_installation process.
5. Create a new database:
- Once logged into the MySQL CLI, you can create a new database with the following command: CREATE DATABASE dbname; Replace dbname with your desired database name.
