An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
1. SSH to the instance:
- Use the public IP of your instance and log in as the 'ubuntu' user, using the private key you specified during instance launch.
2. Run OS commands via SSH:
- After logging in, use sudo to run any commands that require root access.
3. Verify PostgreSQL installation:
- To check the installed version of PostgreSQL, run the following command: sudo -u postgres psql -c "SELECT version();"
This will display the version of PostgreSQL installed on your instance.
