AWS Marketplace offers several programs to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Channel Partners to help scale your business through AWS Marketplace. Now, ISVs and Channel Partners can onboard more quickly by taking the new Introduction to AWS Marketplace channel programs course and other role-specific courses. These seven 30-minutes courses are designed to accelerate training of sales, operations, marketing, and alliances teams to AWS Marketplace channel programs and features.
Introduction to AWS Marketplace channel programs course
The Introduction to AWS Marketplace channel programs course provides both ISVs and Channel Partners an overview of channel programs. It includes brief explanations of how the programs work, the value and business opportunities available, and how to get started. This course provides an overview of the Channel mechanisms, including Channel Partner Private Offers (CPPO), Solution Provider Private Offers (SPPO), and Professional Services. Once you complete this course, I encourage you to take a role-specific course to learn additional details to support onboarding into the AWS Marketplace Channel.
Courses for sales, operations, marketing & alliances
The AWS Marketplace Training Academy role-specific courses provide relevant information for sales, operations, marketing, and alliances teams. Individuals will learn about the transaction process, best practices, and resources to accelerate onboarding to the AWS Marketplace Channel.
- For Channel Partner Sales: Learn about sales-specific benefits of CPPO, SPPO, and Professional Services as well as AWS Marketplace Contacts to support closing deals through AWS Marketplace. Sales enablement content is also available.
- For Channel Partner Operations: Learn about the authorization and disbursement process, how to transact through AWS Marketplace, and reporting.
- For Channel Partner Marketing and Alliances: Learn about Channel features and capabilities, such as the Private Marketplace and APIs, achieving the AWS Marketplace Skilled Channel Partner (MSCP) designation, and best practices for scaling your business through AWS Marketplace.
- For ISV Sales: Learn about how to authorize Channel Partners to resell your solutions via AWS Marketplace, sales specific benefits of CPPO, SPPO, and Professional Services, and AWS Marketplace Contacts to support closing deals through AWS Marketplace.
