Now available: New digital training to help you learn about AWS database services

AWS Training and Certification recently released free digital training courses to make it easier for you to build your cloud skills and learn about using AWS database services. This new training includes courses like AWS Database Services Overview.

You can get free and unlimited access to more than 100 new digital training courses built by AWS experts at aws.training. It’s easy to access training related to databases. Just choose the Database category on our Find Training page to browse. You can also search for training for specific services using the keyword filter.

AWS Database Services Overview (10 minutes)
Provides a brief history of database tools and covers the modernization of data stores that led to different database styles.

Introduction to Amazon Aurora (10 minutes)
Covers the benefits and features of Amazon Aurora, along with how Amazon Aurora compares with Amazon RDS, and a brief demonstration on configuring Amazon Aurora.

Introduction to Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) (10 minutes)
Provides an overview of the service’s features and highlight several use cases. Also demonstrates how to create, configure, and connect to a new Amazon RDS database instance.

Introduction to Amazon ElastiCache (10 minutes)
Introduces you to the service by highlighting how it works and some of its key features. We review caching strategies such as lazy loading, write through, and adding time to live (TTL). We also explore a series of use cases.

Introduces you to concepts, strategies, and best practices for designing a cloud-based data warehousing solution, and demonstrates how to collect, store, and prepare data for the data warehouse.

Security Operations on AWS (3 days)
Demonstrates how to efficiently use AWS security services to stay secure and compliant in the AWS Cloud. The course highlights the security features of AWS key services including compute, storage, networking, and database services.
