Singapore’s National University Health System (NUHS) collaborated with Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS), Singapore’s technology agency for the public sector, to develop the OneNUHS App. The mobile healthcare application extends healthcare services beyond the hospital, providing telehealth services like video consultations with doctors and more. To accelerate time-to-launch, save costs, and support reliable access for Singaporeans, the OneNUHS app uses AWS.

The United Kingdom (UK) government’s 2011 Skills for Life survey estimated that about 49% of UK adults had levels of numeracy—the ability to understand and use math in real-life situations—on par with primary school children. In response, National Numeracy, a nonprofit to help UK adults increase numeracy, was founded in 2012. The Delhi Academy of Medical Sciences Pvt Ltd (DAMS) is the leading institute for National Eligibility and Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG) preparation for doctors in India. During the pandemic, DAMS shifted its course delivery to its eMedicoz app, an education technology (EdTech) initiative powered by AWS that has reached more than 500,000 verified doctors and medical student subscribers. To keep students connected with real-time learning, DAMS used AWS to deliver live-streamed and two-way interactive classes for thousands of budding doctors through the eMedicoz app.

Public transit can efficiently connect people and places, often saving riders time and money while reducing traffic congestion. To help make taking public transit more simple, Amazon Alexa launched a transit capability where customers can conveniently ask Alexa for directions with transit or status updates for transit lines from over 450 public transportation agencies.
