AWS Week in Review – October 14, 2013

Let’s take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week:

Monday, October 14	We introduced Federated Users and Temporary Security Credentials for AWS CloudFormation.
Tuesday, October 15	We added Content Uploading Support to Amazon CloudFront.
Wednesday, October 16	The AWS .Net Developer Blog talked about Drag and Drop in the AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio.
Thursday, October 17	The Amazon Elastic Transcoder Now Has Audio Support.
Friday, October 18	An article on the AWS Security Blog provided Guidelines for When to Use Accounts, Users, and Groups. We added twelve AWS customer case studies. Portuguese: Baby.com.br, e-smart, Hidrovias do Brasil, SitePX,, Kenkanto, and ONS. English: Krunchtime, Fotomerchant, Measured Voice, Cloud Advantage, SwiftKey, and Ziff Davis. This week AWS Marketplace added new products including CDash, ExpeDat S3 Gateway, Youneeq, ElephantDrive, CSRware, SlashDB, and Sinefa. The AWS Java Development Blog talked about Using the SaveBehavior Configuration for the DynamoDB Mapper. The AWS Mobile Development Blog talked about Creating Mobile Apps With Dynamic Content Stored in Amazon S3.
