Here at untapt, we’re using machine learning to reinvent the hiring process for software engineers. We’ve built a digital hiring platform that matches developers with hiring managers and puts them directly in touch with each other. Initially focused on FinTech, untapt will soon expand to cover technology hiring across broad industry verticals. I want to share a bit about our history, how we came to be, what we’re planning next, and how AWS helped make it happen.

Aira, based in San Diego and launched in 2014, focuses on developing technology and services that provide blind and low-vision individuals greater mobility and independence. Using wearable smart glass technology, Aira connects the visually impaired in real time (through AWS components) with remote, trained Aira Agents.

Adam Sturrock is the co-founder of Moltin, a cloud-based eCommerce solution that allows rapid integration of eCommerce functionality — such as inventory, shopping carts, and checkout — into any website or application through simple and powerful APIs. In this blog post, Adam tells us how Moltin came about and why they chose AWS.

Currently, coders come to CheckiO to ramp up their Python powers, but we plan to add more programming languages in the future. CheckiO is becoming the code training platform that brings together the smartest engineering minds in the world. And we are making it fun!
