Security for Flash Applications

Voiced by Polly

From time to time we get email from developers asking us to install the files needed to allow Flash applications to make use of ECS. The file in question has actually been in place for some time and Flash applications should not have any problems making calls to ECS.

For Amazon.com, the file can be found at http://xml.amazon.com/crossdomain.xml .

More information on this file can be found in the Macromedia article, “Security Changes in Macromedia Flash Player 7“.
