Build Kubernetes Modernization on AWS with Amazon EKS Delivery Partners
By Dean Bryda, Partner Development Specialist, Containers – AWS
By Joanne Moore, Sr. Launch Product Manager – AWS
As containers become developer mainstream, practitioners across industries are leveraging them to drive innovative solutions to the market faster, make their enterprise more agile, and help accelerate to modern cloud-native operations at scale.
It is not surprising that most of today’s new technology such as 5G, machine learning, connected vehicles, factory floor innovations, and edge are being powered by containers.
As customers adopt containers, many of them look to Kubernetes as an open source orchestration technology. According to Nucleus research, 84% of Kubernetes workloads that run in the cloud today run on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
However, many of these customers want help adopting, migrating, and modernizing their workloads and managing their lifecycle on Kubernetes—leveraging Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS).
AWS is pleased to announce the new Amazon EKS Delivery specialization to help customers find validated AWS Partners that can help them implement their workloads using Kubernetes on top of Amazon EKS.
Launch Partner Showcase
The Amazon EKS Delivery specialization recognizes AWS Partners who have demonstrated technical proficiency to architect, run, and operate containerized workloads on top of Amazon EKS.
Leveraging AWS Well-Architected principles and Amazon EKS and Kubernetes best practices, it helps customers drive success in their container-based modernization efforts.
AWS Partners earn the Amazon EKS Service Delivery specialization after successfully completing a rigorous review of their delivery model, technical skills, and by demonstrating customer success with case studies.
This specialization not only helps to identify and validate these partners, but also provides a target for partners looking to develop new Kubernetes practices on top of AWS.
Amazon EKS Delivery Partners receive ongoing technical enablement through the Deeper Learning Series. Benefits include early access to the Amazon EKS product roadmap release details and schedules to influence what they should invest in as an Amazon EKS Delivery Partner.
