For a challenge you won’t want to miss, join episode 4 of the Twitch AWS Power Hour

We are now three episodes into the seven-week AWS Power Hour: Machine Learning series. Are you caught up? If not, catch the recorded streams! And make sure you join us for episode 4 this Thursday, August 13 at 4 p.m. PST on Twitch.

What happened in episode 3

Mona Mona, AWS Principle Solution Architect, joined hosts Jon Dion and Kirsten Dupart to help us understand how to use Amazon Comprehend. We saw several demos and performed sentiment analysis live on the show chat. We also learned that Jon could use machine learning (ML) to read and analyze emails from his mom so that he only has to read the positive ones (but should he?!).

What to expect in episode 4

In episode 4, Jon and Kirsten will be joined by Daniela Tzvetkova, AWS Senior Product Manager and Vishnu Parimi, AWS Principal Product Manager. Our guests will help us learn about Amazon CodeGuru, a developer tool powered by ML that provides intelligent recommendations for improving code quality and identifying an application’s most expensive lines of code. We’ll give a quick review of last week, followed by a quick overview of the service, and then deep dive into some of the most important features.

This episode will also include a new challenge—we’ll share a snippet of code and see how many issues viewers can catch. Then, we’ll see how Amazon CodeGuru Reviewer performs! And as usual, we’ll end with some resources to help you get started on your own projects right away.
