Pulumi is a cloud-native development platform for describing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Kubernetes, and other cloud platforms. Pulumi offers cloud configuration as software, not just via a declarative language like YAML or JSON, but instead using popular programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript and Python. You can use Pulumi to easily deploy Amazon EKS, or to deploy your own custom AWS and Kubernetes-based applications and infrastructure.

We recently hosted our first-ever APN Digital Summit with 20 sessions covering seven different AWS service areas. The all-day virtual summit gave APN Partners the chance to dive deep in areas without having to leave their office. We also hosted a virtual GameDay for APN Partners to apply their knowledge of the services covered during the session tracks. Spring Venture Group reached out to APN Premier Partner Logicworks to architect and manage their AWS deployment. Their developers were comfortable building and deploying containers in their on-premises environment, but were eager to get greater agility and flexibility on AWS. Running AWS Service Catalog and Amazon ECS has created a reliable, stable deployment pipeline, resulting in hundreds of hours saved for their engineering team each month.

Many customers prefer to purchase software solutions through Consulting Partners, benefiting from their knowledge of the customer’s business, localized support, and expertise. This new feature enables Consulting Partners to work with more than 1,400 ISVs and expand the ways customers can purchase software in AWS Marketplace. Customers looking to consume AWS PrivateLink-enabled services from service providers need a mechanism to route traffic from their VPCs and on-premises networks to PrivateLink VPC endpoints. The service providers, in turn, want to make it easy to consume their PrivateLink-enabled services by managing such routing mechanisms. In this post, we describe four DNS mechanisms to route traffic from customer networks to the PrivateLink VPC endpoints.
