At Hannover Messe 2018, the world’s largest trade show for industrial technology, we announced the AWS Industrial Software Competency Program will launch later in 2018 and help customers find highly qualified APN Partners to effectively solve their business challenges. Hannover Messe features insights from industrial thought leaders, as well as AWS product announcements in the Industrial IoT and Machine Learning spaces.

We are excited to announce AWS PartnerCast—a free webinar series starting April 30, 2018. We created this weekly series to give APN Partners at all levels an interactive and full overview of training topics in AWS areas of interest. We will host two hours of content each week: a one-hour business topic and a one-hour technical topic. Each session is designed to help APN Partners create new customer opportunities, enhance professional relationships, and develop training interests.

A new update for the Red Hat OpenShift on AWS Quick Start improves usability by simplifying the management of certificates and domain names, and provides customers with the ability to scale workloads. Users can also enable AWS Service Broker via a parameter input during stack launch. AWS Service Broker is a new open source project directly integrated into OpenShift, allowing you to deploy AWS services without leaving the application platform. Red Hat is an APN Advanced Technology Partner.

With Linke, an APN Premier Consulting Partner with the AWS SAP Competency, enterprises can execute SAP-centric digital transformation strategies including SAP deployments and database migrations to SAP HANA. When one of Australia’s largest general insurers, Insurance & Care NSW (icare), was looking for an urgent solution to relieve pressure on their constrained internal network and Internet links, they turned to Cloudten Industries, an APN Advanced Consulting Partner with the AWS Government Competency. Cloudten helped alleviate the load on icare’s internal network while allowing the business to meet its project deadlines for Office 365 migration.

Migrating a mainframe is a complex project, and Candid Partners is focused on solving the toughest business problems using AWS.
