Desktop and Application Streaming

From traditional to transformational: Converting applications to SaaS with Amazon AppStream 2.0

In today’s fast-paced digital world, the demand for cloud-based solutions are soaring. Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models are gaining recognition for their ability to transform application delivery, resulting in increased efficiency and Return on Investment (ROI). Amazon AppStream 2.0 empowers organizations to deliver applications and SaaS without the need to rewrite complex code.

There are several advantages to cloud-based application delivery for end-users. They offer flexibility, end users access to applications from any device, anywhere, and at any time, and promote seamless collaboration and productivity. Software vendors understand the need to modernize their applications to satisfy customers and boost revenue.

Transitioning to cloud-based application delivery isn’t always straightforward. Many organizations lack the time, resources, or expertise required for extensive application rework. This can lead to the diversion of focus from core business objectives. This is particularly challenging for verticals that provide complex applications, like healthcare, education, and financial services.

Amazon AppStream 2.0 provides a seamless migration path to the cloud without the need for extensive reworking. This powerful managed service streamlines the migration journey, minimizes operational disruptions, and accelerates the release of cloud-based applications.

To learn how AppStream 2.0 can help your organization bridge the gap between traditional application delivery and a cloud-based future, join our session at re:Invent 2023. Our experts will guide you through the process of leveraging AppStream 2.0 to speed up the migration of your applications to the cloud.
