AWS Educate Announces its Inaugural Cloud Ambassador Cohort
AWS Educate is excited to announce the 2019 cohort for the AWS Educate Cloud Ambassador Program. The AWS Educate Cloud Ambassador Program provides leading educators recognition, professional development, and exclusive benefits for helping students learn about cloud computing and prepare for the modern workforce.
The program consists of two tiers – the AWS Educate Cloud Ambassador Council and AWS Educate Faculty Ambassadors. The select group of AWS Educate Cloud Ambassador Council members were invited into the program and represent a diverse group of educators. They will work closely with AWS Educate’s leadership to increase the program’s impact on cloud education. AWS Educate Faculty Ambassadors are selected annually to recognize leaders in cloud education. Faculty Ambassadors are AWS enthusiasts who are innovating in the classroom and excel at teaching students about the cloud. They will join a community of experienced academic practitioners.
Through a competitive process that included an application and video submission that showcased member accomplishments, the inaugural AWS Educate Faculty Ambassadors cohort was selected and contains members from over 32 countries and more than 175 higher education and K12 institutions.
