Innovate and work hands-on at the first AWS Federal Pop-Up Loft in Rosslyn, Virginia

Federal customers and partners are invited to attend the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Federal Pop-Up Loft.  From September 4-18, the AWS Federal Pop-Up Loft will be open at the Convene meeting space at 1201 Wilson Blvd in Rosslyn, Virginia. The temporary community space will unite federal customers and partners to learn and innovate together. So, what does the AWS Federal Pop-Up Loft have to offer?

AWS Technical Trainings

Whether you’re a cloud expert or just beginning your journey, the daily AWS technical training workshops at the AWS Federal Pop-Up Loft will cover a range of topics to help hone and develop your skills. From database migration to machine learning, you can pick and choose sessions to attend based on your current cloud needs. Register now for one or multiple classes from the full two-week schedule.

Workshops include:

  • AWSome Day – This one-day class provides an introduction to AWS Cloud concepts and AWS core services for compute, storage, database, and networking.
  • NIST Compliance – This day-long workshop is designed for U.S. Federal Government and Department of Defense (DoD) IT professionals, architects, and administrators to learn how to architect for DoD workloads in the cloud.
  • Hybrid Cloud Strategies – This half-day workshop dives into how VMware Cloud on AWS, an integrated hybrid-cloud service, helps simplify and accelerate the migration process.

Ask the Expert Bar

AWS Solutions Architects will be onsite to give one-on-one project guidance from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST. Simply walk up to the bar and dive into your cloud questions. Once you’re on track, take advantage of the co-working space. You can revisit the bar if further questions arise as your cloud project progress.

Co-Working Space

Located across the river from Washington, DC and a few miles from the Pentagon, Convene offers scenic floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable seating, and ample outlets. The co-working space is designed for you to settle in and immerse yourself in your projects, while also giving you the opportunity to discuss mission advancement in the cloud. Complimentary snacks will be served.
