Launch Partners in the AWS Industrial Software Competency Program have built solutions on AWS targeting the primary steps in discrete manufacturing or process industries: Product Design, Production Design, and Production/Operations. These solutions follow AWS best practices for building the most secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure for industry applications. While market adoption of machine learning varies across industry segments, healthcare and life sciences have lots of opportunity to explore. Pharmaceutical and biotech industries, specifically, have low utilization of the large volumes of data they collect and store for regulatory purposes. Aizon is an AWS Partner that offers a number of ML solutions to enhance utilization and management of such data in a way that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the cloud.

The Modernization Platform-as-a-Service (ModPaaS) from APN Partner Modern Systems allows customers to collaborate in a highly-customizable manner. ModPaaS is available on AWS Marketplace and gives you access to Modern Systems-developed modernization solutions “as a service” on AWS. It can be used in a self-service manner, with assistance from Modern Systems’ modernization specialists, or in a fully-managed approach similar to traditional project engagements.

Mainframe monoliths have grown over the years with overwhelming complexity. They often mix different languages and data stores with various interfaces, evolving coding standards, online and batch, and millions of lines of code. With AWS, customers use microservices for agility, elasticity, and pay-as-you-go cloud technology. In this post, we explore AWS Blu Age solutions to peel off AWS microservices from a mainframe monolith, and how to solve data challenges associated with such a migration.

Nouvola’s DiveCloud integrates directly with AWS CodePipeline and makes it easy for developers to incorporate load testing into their CI/CD workflows. DiveCloud uses machine learning and predictive analytics technologies to test your software from a wide range of geographic locations, with real-life user scenarios and in-depth performance analytics. Symantec is an AWS Security Competency Partner that has integrated Amazon’s SSM Agent with their cloud-native Symantec Cloud Workload Protection (CWP) solution, which automates core security controls for AWS workloads, enabling business agility, risk reduction, and cost savings for organizations, while easing DevOps and administrative burdens. Customers can now deploy the CWP agent directly from the CWP console or just use a simple REST API call.
