Putting the YOU in the Future of Commerce: Track 2 of Industry Innovator’s Conference 2022
Learn more about the sessions and speakers featured in Track 2: Future of Commerce at this year’s Industry Innovator’s Conference for Retail & CPG 2022.
Gone are the days of customers shopping in silos. If the last few years have taught us anything in retail, it’s that people are looking for less separation and more integration. With consumers increasingly moving between digital channels and physical stores—and with the growth of buy-online-pickup-in-store (BOPIS) and other buying options—retail channels need to easily integrate with each other because no matter where customers are shopping, one thing’s for certain: there needs to be synergy.
How can you do this? Start by thinking about the future of commerce and, more importantly, your role in it.
So don’t delay! Get the ball rolling by attending our first ever Industry Innovator’s Conference for Retail & CPG. If you haven’t had the chance to read our previous blog, you can find the information you need here.
This is a live, online event hosted by AWS and will be held on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. PT to 11:30 a.m. PT. Trends in digital commerce and interactive live streaming with VTEX
Consumers today have heightened expectations for every digital experience with brands and retailers. Because of this, things like marketing, cross-channel, and product discovery must be personalized, easy, and frictionless. “Good enough” customer experiences won’t win over the shopper of tomorrow. In this session, learn from Jordan Jewell, director of merchant growth strategy, about the top trends VTEX is seeing that will shape digital commerce in the next 5 years and how merchants are tackling these challenges in areas like product visualization, customer support, and business model experimentation.
As an analyst in residence, Jordan assists business to customer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) merchants in growing their sales over digital channels and wears many hats—for example, detective, economist, statistician—to provide actionable advice in areas such as merchandizing, channel management, marketplaces, product information management, and more. Previously, as lead digital commerce analyst at IDC, he tracked digital commerce platform, product information management (PIM), configure price quote (CPQ), order management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) markets. He also conducted dozens of vendor evaluations on digital commerce, PIM, CPQ, and subscription management.
