Amazon FSx for Windows File Server
Now we’ve got a bunch of new capabilities for Amazon FSx for Windows File Server customers!
- Easy deployment of Multi-AZ file systems
- Support for Data Deduplication
- Support for user quotas
- Support for programmatic share management
- Support for smaller file systems
- Support for High Availability SQL Server deployments
- Support for fine-grained control of in-transit encryption

We are pleased to announce that Amazon S3 now enables S3 Replication Time Control to provide predictable replication times for new S3 objects, backed by a Service Level Agreement, with associated Amazon CloudWatch metrics!

Now we would like to announce some AWS DataSync updates!
- We’re announcing a price reduction of 68% for AWS DataSync effective from November 1, 2019.
- We’re also adding the ability to schedule data transfers in DataSync.
- AWS DataSync is now available in five additional Regions: Europe (Stockholm), South America (Sao Paulo), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), and Asia Pacific (Mumbai), and AWS GovCloud (US-East).
