Load Test Your Applications with Nouvola DiveCloud and AWS CodePipeline
Nouvola’s DiveCloud integrates directly with AWS CodePipeline and makes it easy for developers to incorporate load testing into their CI/CD workflows. DiveCloud uses machine learning and predictive analytics technologies to test your software from a wide range of geographic locations, with real-life user scenarios and in-depth performance analytics. Nouvola is an APN Advanced Technology Partner with the AWS DevOps Competency.
Security Orchestration with Symantec Cloud Workload Protection and AWS Systems Manager
Symantec is an AWS Security Competency Partner that has integrated Amazon’s SSM Agent with their cloud-native Symantec Cloud Workload Protection (CWP) solution, which automates core security controls for AWS workloads, enabling business agility, risk reduction, and cost savings for organizations, while easing DevOps and administrative burdens. Customers can now deploy the CWP agent directly from the CWP console or just use a simple REST API call.
Delivering Software to Amazon EKS with Confidence Using JFrog Artifactory
JFrog, an APN Advanced Technology Partner, is a proud integration partner of Amazon Amazon EKS. In this post, JFrog provides a detailed example of deploying a containerized application to Amazon EKS using JFrog Artifactory as the Kubernetes registry. We also explore how to configure Artifactory as your Kubernetes registry for Amazon EKS by provisioning Artifactory and Amazon EKS, and deploying the Docker images from Artifactory to Amazon EKS.
Building Blockchain Applications with Corda Enterprise on AWS
Corda Enterprise from APN Advanced Technology Partner R3 harnesses the most appropriate elements from the Corda blockchain platform—smart contract technology, immutability, and consensus on the shared perception of truth—and fine tunes them for the enterprise market. Corda Enterprise adds features like a Blockchain Application Firewall, support for SQL Server databases, and easy back-office integrations in a highly available and redundant configuration.
Tracing Amazon FreeRTOS on NXP LPC54018
In this post, the first in an APN Blog series about Amazon FreeRTOS development for AWS IoT Core, we go through the setup required for running the Amazon FreeRTOS application, how it works on a high level, and how to connect it to AWS IoT Core. We will also present Percepio Tracealyzer, a tool for debugging the real-time behavior of Amazon FreeRTOS applications, together with a real-world example where Tracealyzer was used to analyze a connectivity issue I encountered when getting started with this project.
How AWS Nonprofit Competency Partners Help Customers Drive Social Change
To give you an idea how AWS Nonprofit Competency Partners are driving social change, learn about the work of APN Partners ClearScale, Civis Analytics, and Megazone. APN Premier Partner ClearScale helped SF Match eliminate single points of failure and provide quality, high availability service to their users. Civis partnered with Robin Hood Foundation to model SNAP and EITC participation rates in New York City. Megazone helped GCCEI overcome a lack of IT management staff to implement and service a new website with global reach.
How to Authenticate Users into Your Apps Using Application Load Balancer and Centrify
While many aspects of app development and deployment on AWS have been streamlined, authentication of end-users into apps remains challenging. In this post, Centrify highlights a new method of authenticating users into your mobile and web applications using the Application Load Balancer feature of Elastic Load Balancing using Centrify as an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity provider. Centrify is an APN Advanced Technology Partner.
How to Build a Secure-by-Default Kubernetes Cluster with Basic CI/CD Pipeline on AWS
Kubernetes is an open-source platform to automate deploying, scaling, and operating application containers. But in itself, Kubernetes is not enough to achieve this goal. To fully empower our engineers, we need to build a CI/CD pipeline around Kubernetes. Using this tutorial from APN Partner Slalom Consulting, we have built a Kubernetes cluster with a good set of security defaults and then wrapped a simple CI/CD pipeline around it.
How Musicians Use AWS to Go from Big Data to Their Big Break
Despite advances in music-sharing technology, touring and live shows remain staples for emerging artists. How do artists and promoters align the reach of streaming services with fans’ physical locations to better plan, promote, and manage live shows? To answer this question, Vertical Trail partnered with Gigable to create a music platform and app that uses curated playlists, geo-based concert discovery, and online ticketing to close the gap between artists and their fans—all while building a formidable big data asset.
4 Steps to Train and Deploy Machine Learning Models on AWS Using H2O
H2O is an open source data machine learning platform that provides a flexible, user-friendly tool to help data scientists and machine learning practitioners. It was created by H2O.ai, an APN Advanced Partner with the AWS Machine Learning Competency. In this post, we look at setting up an H2O cluster, import data from Amazon S3, create an AWS Lambda deployment package from the model, and finally deploy a RESTful endpoint. Following these steps, you can migrate your H2O Flows to AWS in about 10 minutes.
