Industry analyst firm Gartner has published its annual report evaluating cloud AI developer services, the 2022 Magic Quadrant for Cloud AI Developer Services (CAIDS). AWS was once again named a Leader and placed highest among 13 recognized vendors for “Ability to Execute.” Choosing the right provider for cloud AI developer services is critically important right now. AWS Partners can leverage this report with their customers to showcase the value that AWS will bring to them.

AWS partners have asked us to do more to help them build analytics-driven applications, so we are excited to announce the launch of the ‘Powered by Amazon Redshift’ program. This program enables ISVs to build their applications using Amazon Redshift—our fully-managed cloud data warehouse service—and deliver fast, easy, and secure analytics at any scale available within their applications. With Amazon Redshift powering applications, ISVs can drive up to 3X price performance compared to any other cloud data warehouse.

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the AWS Partner Network (APN). To celebrate this important milestone, we’re launching a series of partner transformation stories—“10 Years of Success”—highlighting some of our AWS Partners who have been “all in” and grown with us over the past decade. Up first in our Q&A-style series is Cloudsoft, an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner that helps businesses securely migrate, run, and evolve applications in the cloud.

AWS is excited to announce that 85 new, additional countries are now approved for the Commercial Channel Programs which consists of the AWS Solution Provider Program and AWS Distribution Program. This announcement means AWS Partners located in these countries are now allowed into our reseller programs, which greatly accelerates AWS’s ability to expand into these regions by several years. Authorized AWS Distributors already have coverage in 60 of the 85 newly-authorized countries.

We are excited to highlight 83 AWS Partners that received new designations in May for our global AWS Competency, AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP), AWS Service Delivery, and AWS Service Ready programs. These designations span workload, solution, and industry, and help AWS customers identify top AWS Partners that can deliver on core business objectives. AWS Partners are focused on your success, helping customers take full advantage of the business benefits AWS has to offer.

The goal of the AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program is to recognize partners that provide the best AWS Cloud managed service experience for their customers. To this effect, we periodically publish updates to the AWS MSP Partner Program Validation Checklist which defines the criteria and requirements for the AWS MSP Partner Program. We’re pleased to share the latest updates in version 5.0 of the validation checklist.

The APN Ambassador Program is a vibrant worldwide community of technical experts, known as AWS Ambassadors who are prominent leaders and passionate about sharing their AWS technical expertise. They author blogs and whitepapers, create and deliver public presentations, and contribute to open source projects. Our Ambassadors evangelize AWS via social media and facilitate peer-to-peer learning by presenting at conferences, leading workshops, and hosting user group events.

AWS Partners are building successful migration and modernization practices to help customers with their workloads, and partners are leveraging AWS Partner Funding programs to sell more projects and grow their AWS businesses. Based on past successes and feedback from AWS Partners, customers, and the AWS field, we have consolidated several migration funding programs into the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP). These changes will help fund small and large migrations to AWS across different workloads.
