Next in our “10 Years of Success” series is Nasstar, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and MSP that helps businesses design, implement, and manage multi-cloud environments across applications, data, and security. With AWS Competencies in Government, Data and Analytics, and DevOps, Nasstar helps customers get workloads to the cloud rapidly and with confidence. We spoke with Steve Sell, Director of Cloud Services at Nasstar, about their growth and experience as an AWS Partner over the last decade.

Each year, we honor members of the AWS Partner Network (APN) who are leaders in the channel and play key roles in helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS. Announced throughout the year, AWS Partner Awards recognize a wide range of born-in-the-cloud and traditional services and software partners whose business models have embraced specialization and collaboration.

New this year, AWS Partners can self-nominate themselves to be considered across a variety of AWS Partner Award categories, all related to partner focus areas, technologies, and the significant impact partners are making in delighting our customers. Award submissions will be reviewed and selected with special emphasis placed on customer success use cases presented in the nomination form. All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM PST on September 15, 2022.

The increased need to support large amounts of business data exchange, a stronger need for data governance, security, and compliance, and a proliferation of data sources has driven many companies to seek native solutions for Managed File Transfer and B2B file exchange. AWS Transfer Family Service Delivery Partners provide the expertise, proven success, and validated solutions that allow customers to move to a modernized, cloud-native MFT and B2B file exchange solution.

Customers are looking for supply chain technology capabilities to meet these challenges. The new AWS Supply Chain Competency features top AWS Partners who provide professional services and cloud-native supply chain solutions on AWS. These solutions enable companies of every size and segment to enhance their responsiveness to customers, strengthen their resilience to disruptions, and become more responsible to the environment and global community.

Next in our “10 Years of Success” series is beSharp, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner that helps customers design, implement, and manage complex cloud infrastructures. With AWS Competencies in SaaS, Data and Analytics, DevOps, and Migration, beSharp’s team of cloud experts have contributed to thousands of cloud projects. We spoke with beSharp’s CEO and Co-Founder, Simone Merlini, about beSharp’s work and accomplishments, as well as how its business has grown as an AWS Partner since joining the APN in 2012.

The APN Ambassador Program is a vibrant worldwide community of technical experts, known as AWS Ambassadors, who are prominent leaders and passionate about sharing their AWS technical expertise. They author blogs and whitepapers, create and deliver public presentations, and contribute to open source projects. Our Ambassadors evangelize AWS via social media and facilitate peer-to-peer learning by presenting at conferences, leading workshops, and hosting user group events.

The AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency makes it easy for customers to quickly find validated solution providers qualified to deliver solutions that have been uniquely designed for cloud environments. We are excited to announce specialization categories for the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency. These categories help customers find the ideal solution provider based on the specific managed security need they are facing. We invite you to explore the following Level 1 MSSP Partner offerings recommended by AWS.

The security landscape continues to evolve, making it a challenge for customers to modernize and stay up to date with use cases and threats. We are excited to expand the AWS Security Competency with eight new categories to help customers find and acquire a range of partner services and software, all of which are validated by AWS and address a full suite of security use cases. To keep up with the fast pace of the security marketplace, these categories will expand over time with additional use cases.
