Artificial intelligence (AI) itself may not be new, but the field was thrown into a new level of overdrive in late 2022 when the launch of ChatGPT brought generative AI and large language models (LLMs) quickly and irrevocably into the public’s consciousness. In September 2023, AWS released Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed AI service that allows AWS developers to easily integrate generative AI models into their cloud projects. Learn how three IT professionals were all able to use AWS’s training resources to quickly come up to speed on Amazon Bedrock and put these technologies to use.

In January, we launched 24 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including three new learning plans for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and a Solutions Architect-focused version of AWS Card Clash. On Coursera, we launched courses 5-9 to round out the AWS Cloud Technology Consultant Professional Certificate. Dive into our 21 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including seven new game-based and interactive trainings and certification preparation courses to help you build AWS Cloud expertise, from AWS Industry Quest: Manufacturing and Automotive, AWS Card Clash, to the new AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam prep resource, AWS Escape Room. You can also recertify for your AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner by playing the beta AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner Recertify – no need to take an exam. We also have four new learning plans with digital badges to guide your knowledge-building, and for executives, we’ve added cloud education for Chief Human Resource Officers and for executives wanting to build their security know-how.

Leveraging AWS technology, working with AWS experts and upskilling its team with AWS Training, Orangetheory Fitness enabled rapid growth and the introduction of new workout types based on data from millions of members for personalized, smarter workouts.

In November, we launched 16 digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including 9 new AWS Builder Labs and self-serve AWS Jam events in AWS Skill Builder subscription. For executives, we’ve added more digital training to help you build your knowledge of cloud – this time for small business owners and risk and compliance officers. ITvitae, Rabobank, and AWS Training and Certification have joined forces in an initiative to bridge the gap between neurodivergent talent and the tech industry’s demands. This partnership focuses on providing specialized training, exemplified by the success of individuals like Rebecca de Jong, who graduated from ITvitae with two AWS certifications and transitioned into a technical role at Rabobank.

AWS Partner Certification Readiness programs are designed to help partner learners preparing for AWS Certification exams speed up their journey. Using a combination of live study sessions, which are also recorded and available on demand, online resources, optional AWS Builder Labs, and AWS Certification Official Practice Exams, it is specifically tailored to people who are looking to gain knowledge as quickly as possible and put it into action.

In October, we launched 13 digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including a new learning plan and digital badge for Migration, a new AWS Jam Journey for Game Serverless and Analytics, a free digital course to build generative AI skills with Amazon Bedrock, and a new 12-month, prescriptive virtual training program to build job-ready cloud developer skills called AWS Cloud Institute. And, AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner is now available in Japanese.
