New ‘Powered by Amazon Redshift’ Program Helps AWS Partners Enable Customers with Analytics at Any Scale
AWS partners have asked us to do more to help them build analytics-driven applications, so we are excited to announce the launch of the ‘Powered by Amazon Redshift’ program. This program enables ISVs to build their applications using Amazon Redshift—our fully-managed cloud data warehouse service—and deliver fast, easy, and secure analytics at any scale available within their applications. With Amazon Redshift powering applications, ISVs can drive up to 3X price performance compared to any other cloud data warehouse.
Introducing New Cleared Countries for AWS Channel Programs
AWS is excited to announce that 85 new, additional countries are now approved for the Commercial Channel Programs which consists of the AWS Solution Provider Program and AWS Distribution Program. This announcement means AWS Partners located in these countries are now allowed into our reseller programs, which greatly accelerates AWS’s ability to expand into these regions by several years. Authorized AWS Distributors already have coverage in 60 of the 85 newly-authorized countries.
AWS MSP Partner Program Validation Checklist Update – Version 5
The goal of the AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program is to recognize partners that provide the best AWS Cloud managed service experience for their customers. To this effect, we periodically publish updates to the AWS MSP Partner Program Validation Checklist which defines the criteria and requirements for the AWS MSP Partner Program. We’re pleased to share the latest updates in version 5.0 of the validation checklist.
Announcing 2022 AWS Partner Funding Program Changes and New Funding Tool
AWS Partners are building successful migration and modernization practices to help customers with their workloads, and partners are leveraging AWS Partner Funding programs to sell more projects and grow their AWS businesses. Based on past successes and feedback from AWS Partners, customers, and the AWS field, we have consolidated several migration funding programs into the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP). As customers shift to building applications in the cloud, they require the right tools and software solutions to help them build and distribute scalable, highly engaging applications and online experiences for customers. Amazon CloudFront Ready Partners provide solutions-focused offerings in the end-to-end media management, security, monitoring and analytics, and transfer acceleration space. Their solutions help complement and augment existing AWS services in order to help customers optimize their use of CloudFront.
AWS DevOps Competency Expands to Include DevSecOps Category
With proper DevSecOps implementation, security becomes an integral part of the application delivery pipeline, allowing developers to receive rapid and contextual feedback as they build new features. The new DevSecOps category for the AWS DevOps Competency makes it easy for customers to find validated AWS Partners with DevSecOps products. These partners can help customers build secure applications by integrating security controls and policies into their application delivery pipelines.
AWS Container Competency Expands to Include Enterprise Container Management Category
The AWS Container Competency validates and promotes AWS Partners with software products that integrate with AWS services in ways that improve customers’ ability to run workloads on containers on AWS. With the Container Competency’s new Enterprise Container Management category, you can find products that will help manage container infrastructure (networks, load balancers, perimeter security) and containerized workloads (tasks, pods, services, namespaces, quotas) across different environments.

The new AWS Partner Marketing Central experience is designed to expand audience reach and drive demand for your customer offerings. Within Marketing Central, you’ll find tools and resources that enable you to differentiate your brand, drive demand for your customer offerings, and ultimately accelerate pipeline. AWS Partners gain access to Marketing Central upon meeting the minimum validation criteria for the specific AWS Partner Paths your organization is enrolled in.
Announcing the New AWS Partner Creative and Messaging Guide
We are excited to introduce the new AWS Partner Creative and Messaging Guide, a definitive resource detailing new branding treatments including partner badges, logos, and messaging dos and don’ts which partners can refer to when creating marketing communications, campaign collateral, and event assets. We recommend AWS Partners begin using the new guide, as it replaces the APN Messaging and Branding Guide and the AWS Co-Branding Guide.
