In communities across the country, organizations, philanthropists, and government are working hard to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring. AWS selects 13 startups to participate in the AWS European Defence Accelerator
AWS announced the 13 startups selected to participate in the AWS European Defence Accelerator. The startups offer solutions to help the European Defence industry enhance its energy resilience, secure information sharing, sensing and decision making, quantum, and cyber resilience for mission-critical needs for land, air, maritime, space, and cyber domains. Applications were invited from startups around the globe who are interested in doing business with defence and national security organizations across Europe.
How Hartnell College recovered critical systems using AWS after a cyber attack

When Hartnell College experienced a cyber event in 2022, they used AWS while working with AWS Partner Ferrilli to recover and rebuild their systems. Civix simplifies online campaign finance reporting with AWS serverless technology
Civix, a government technology (GovTech) company and AWS Partner, uses AWS to provide software and services that support multiple public sector use cases, including election management, grants management, and more. Civix saw an opportunity to streamline how filers and third-party vendors manage and report disclosure data to states. Civix worked with the AWS Service Creation team to design and launch a serverless solution on AWS to support filers and campaign management vendors and to increase finance transparency for the constituents they serve.

Delegated authentication using OAuth: A case study using Spotify and AWS
Cloud-based technologies allow organizations like governments to build a new application on existing services on the internet that offers open and documented APIs to deliver reliable data. These services have an authentication model so that new users verify their identity before accessing, even if it’s offered at no cost. There are three components in this scenario: a service provider, an end user, and an application that needs to access user data. The key technology here is OAuth. OAuth is a standard that enables access delegation.
