Introducing New Cleared Countries for AWS Channel Programs

We are excited to announce that 85 new, additional countries are now approved for the Commercial Channel Programs which consists of the AWS Solution Provider Program and AWS Distribution Program.

These new additions include more than 25 European countries and more than 28 African countries. This announcement means AWS Partners located in these countries are now allowed into our reseller programs, which greatly accelerates AWS’s ability to expand into these regions by several years. Authorized AWS Distributors already have coverage in 60 of the 85 newly-authorized countries.

AWS Partners are uniquely positioned to help businesses take full advantage of all that Amazon Web Services (AWS) has to offer and accelerate customers’ journey to the cloud. AWS Solution Provider Partners are composed of systems integrators (SIs), managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers (VARs), and public sector organizations, who resell AWS services to end customers as part of their differentiated solutions.

AWS Distributors provide go-to-market support, billing, and operational support, and extend technical expertise to a vast range of businesses including independent software vendors (ISVs), SIs, MSPs, VARs, digital marketing companies, hardware companies, and public sector organizations.

About the AWS Distribution Program

The AWS Distribution Program enables AWS Partners to grow revenue opportunities by reselling AWS products and solutions. AWS Partners work with AWS Distributors to leverage their go-to-market support, offload billing and operations, receive funding benefits, and gain technical expertise.

AWS Distributors go through a rigorous review process to ensure they provide AWS-specific partner development expertise and value-added services for your business. They support a wide range of businesses and organizations.

How to Join the AWS Distribution Program

If you’re an AWS Partner on the Services Path interested in becoming an AWS Distributor, follow these steps to get involved.

  • Step 1: Build an AWS Practice

    Enroll in the Services Path, which is specifically designed for organizations that leverage AWS to deliver consulting, professional, managed, and resale services. All partners on the Services Path are eligible for discounts through authorized AWS Distributors.

  • Step 2: Apply through an authorized AWS Distributor
    .

  • Step 3: Differentiate Your Offerings

About the AWS Solution Provider Program

The AWS Solution Provider Program is designed for SIs, MSPs, VARs, and public sector partners to resell AWS services to end customers as part of their differentiated solution.

This program provides Authorized Solution Providers financial incentives based on partners’ technical capabilities and success in driving new business, offers flexible contracting options to meet the unique needs of end customers, and provides multiple AWS support models that align to partners’ AWS practice.

How to Join the AWS Solution Provider Program

If you’re an AWS Partner on the Services Path interested in joining the AWS Solution Provider Program, follow these steps to get involved.

  • Step 1: Build an AWS Practice

    AWS Select Tier and above Services Path partners that meet the minimum program requirements (specifically designed for organizations that leverage AWS to deliver consulting, professional, managed, and resale services) are eligible to become AWS Solution Provider Partners.

  • Step 2: Apply for the AWS Solution Provider Program
