This month we launched 16 digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including six AWS Builder Labs—two of which focus on skills development for generative AI—and two new AWS Jam Journeys focused on security challenges from AWS re:Inforce 2023. AWS Training and Certification and AWS Enterprise Strategists have developed a collection of digital training to provide a high-level picture of the benefits of cloud computing to c-suite leaders and executives in business or technology roles. These short, snackable videos feature AWS Enterprise Strategists Jake Burns, Chris Hennessy, and Clarke Rodgers guiding leaders through the must-know information to build their business with cloud.

I joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Solutions Architect in September 2022 after skilling up in AWS Cloud, validating my expertise by earning six AWS Certifications. I decided to pursue the other six certifications, at the specialty level. In this blog post, I’ll share my journey to prepare for and earn the AWS Specialty Certifications, each on the first attempt.

In April 2023, we released 15 digital training products on AWS Skill Builder, including AWS Jam Journey: Security re:Invent and a new AWS Builder Lab for AWS Skill Builder subscribers, and three learning plans (with digital badges) for cloud essentials, Media and Entertainment, and Amazon Connect. We are updating the AWS Certified Security – Specialty exam, and learners who complete all 12 assignments in AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner can earn a 25% off exam voucher for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

In March 2023, AWS Training and Certification released 27 digital products including 14 AWS Builder Labs, an AWS Jam Journey (analytics), two courses for AWS Partners, three courses for c-suite leaders, and a classroom course on AWS security best practices. Exam labs have been temporarily removed from the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate exam. To help organizations scale skill-building with their teams, AWS Skill Builder Team subscription is now available in 50 countries.

In February 2023, AWS Training and Certification released 16 new self-paced courses for learners on AWS Skill Builder, including AWS Jam Journey: DevOps, three new AWS Builder Labs, and four new training courses for AWS Partners. For leaders at customer and partner organizations, AWS Skill Builder Team subscription is available in four new countries and features new Administrator reporting.
