VMware vRealize Orchestrator is a part of VMware’s vRealize Suite and tied in closely with VMware vRealize Automation. This post highlights how you can use vRealize Orchestrator to deploy and manage VMware Cloud on AWS environments. It shows a method of automating VMware Cloud on AWS and helps admins get started using vRO to manage VMware Cloud on AWS environments. The sample code can be found in this GitHub page and follows the VMware Cloud on AWS API guide from VMware.

As customers look to innovate with the cloud, AWS is focused on helping organizations grow by enabling them to securely run a wide range of applications with price performance benefits. AMD-powered instances are integral to these offerings, and with AMD’s announcement of fourth-generation AMD EPYC processors AWS plans to offer Amazon EC2 instances powered by the newly-introduced processors. These instances will expand customer choice of compute options available on EC2.

Federated learning (FL) addresses the need of preserving privacy while having access to large datasets for machine learning model training. The NVIDIA FLARE (which stands for Federated Learning Application Runtime Environment) platform provides an open-source Python SDK for collaborative computation and offers privacy-preserving FL workflows at scale. PKWARE has been working on finding and protecting sensitive data in a range of data stores over the last 10 years. PK Protect Data Store Manager (DSM) on AWS is PKWARE’s flagship product that can scan for sensitive elements in structured and unstructured data, and optionally mask or encrypt the data. Organizations can also monitor access to the sensitive data using PK Protect DSM. In this post, we describe the steps to scan objects in Amazon S3 buckets and protect them with masking or encryption.

Heimdall Data provides functionality needed to support many complex database environments, and solves many of the challenges in scaling database access.

Platea Banking is a digital banking solution developed by NTT DATA to be used by clients as an accelerator in their modernization journeys, especially when creating a new banking platform. It’s positioned as a modernization vehicle that provides a ready-to-go digital infrastructure and architecture over both internal and external components as core. Platea includes pre-built functional modules and integrations with a third-party ecosystem, with Mambu at its heart as a core engine.
