Q: Who should attend AWS Summits?
Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at an AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.
All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

Q: How do I register?
Registration for the AWS Summit – Cape Town is now open on. Click "Register Now" above to start the registration process. Space is limited so reserve your free seat today.
Q: What is included in Summit registration?
Summit registration gives you access to the keynote, sessions, and the Partner Solutions Expo and reception. As well as the coffee breaks and lunch.
Q: What is the price of registration?
Entrance to the AWS Summit Cape Town is free.
Q: Can I get a receipt of my registration?
Upon completing the online registration process, you will be emailed a confirmation email. Please check your junk mail folder. If you do not receive the confirmation email contact us for a copy at aws-marketing-south-africa@amazon.com.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your Summit reservation by sending an email to aws-marketing-south-africa@amazon.com.
Q: Will I need to register myself for each breakout session?
Onsite at the Summit, sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. As seats are not guaranteed there is no need to pre-register.
Q: What information will be shared with sponsors?
We will not share your contact information with sponsors. However, if you scan your badge at an exhibitor booth within the expo, you are opting into communications from that sponsor. Upon scanning, sponsors will obtain your contact information and may follow up with you.
Q: What is the AWS Summit Code of Conduct?
AWS expects all Summit participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, etc.) to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive learning environment while at the conference and any conference-related events. AWS will not tolerate any form of harassment or offensive speech or behavior, including relating to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability. Participants engaging in behavior deemed by AWS as discriminatory or offensive will be asked to leave the conference or related event immediately. Anyone witnessing such behavior is encouraged to contact an AWS staff member so direct action can be taken.
