At AWS re:Invent 2019, we met up with APN Partners and asked them about their experience with APN Navigate. Here’s what they had to say!

The Amazon RDS Ready Program makes it easy for AWS customers to find products and solutions that integrate with Amazon RDS database engines including Amazon Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle Database, and SQL Server. Amazon RDS Ready Partners provide tooling for Amazon RDS adoption in areas like migration, performance, governance, and monitoring. They also support the use of the Amazon RDS platform as a back-end for applications deployed within a customer’s AWS account.

To help APN Partners learn about running Microsoft workloads on AWS, we have designed a new series of Microsoft-focused virtual events. Each event consists of presentations and hands-on labs, executed in a small group setting of up to 15 attendees per session, and a maximum length of three hours. The sessions will enable you to build high-quality solutions, implement AWS best practices, and help customers run Microsoft workloads on the AWS.

The AWS Lambda Ready Program, part of the AWS Service Ready Program, makes it easy for customers to find developer tools and integrations that are validated by AWS serverless experts to work with AWS Lambda. Amazon EC2 Spot Instances let you reduce costs by taking advantage of unused capacity. The Amazon Linux 2 Ready program, part of the AWS Service Ready Program, makes it easy for AWS customers to find solutions that follow AWS best practices for integrating with Amazon Linux 2. These trusted APN Technology Partners offer customers Amazon Linux 2-supported products, including monitoring agents, databases, application servers, and beyond. Their applications go through rigorous testing by AWS Partner Solutions Architects to ensure customers have a consistent experience using the software.

AWS has resources and tools to make remote work easier for customers during this unprecedented time. AWS solutions include remote desktops and applications, tools for communication and collaboration, and contact center solutions. AWS contact center solutions and remote desktop and application services can be deployed quickly and scale globally with the help of APN Partners. As we closely monitor the impact of COVID-19 across the world, we have been evaluating how best to support and enable APN Partners in this unprecedented situation. We have made the decision to allow APN Partners to maintain their 2019 APN Tier status throughout 2020. Enhanced tier requirements came into effect in 2020. By extending APN Tier status through 2020, we are enabling APN Partners to focus on supporting their customers rather than meeting program requirements during this difficult time.
