Moodle is an open-source learning management system (LMS). Moodle has more than 300 million users worldwide across both academic and enterprise organizations, and is the world’s most widely used learning platform. Oregon and Washington are home to the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR)—a union of the Cayuse, Walla Walla, and Umatilla tribes. Their language, Sahaptian is classified as severely endangered by UNESCO.
