Q: Why should I attend the AWS Summit?
Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at an AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new users about all the features of the AWS platform and let customers learn about best practices to be even more successful with AWS. All of the Summits feature an introductory keynote highlighting the latest announcements at AWS, technical sessions led by AWS experts, and training in the Hands-On Lab area. You'll learn best practices for developing applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring your cloud resources securely and cutting costs. You'll also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners and get their answers to your questions.
Q: How do I register?
Registration for the AWS Milan Summit is officially open. Spaces for attending the event are limited. We encourage you to complete registration to save your place. Click here to register.
Q: What is included in the Summit registration?
Registration for the AWS Milan Summit gives you access to the keynote and breakout sessions, the opportunity to meet Partners in the Expo Area and hear their stories in the Partner Lounge area. You can also access the AWS Stand to meet solutions architects, technical support staff and AWS Trainers.
Q: Where can I find the event agenda?
The event agenda is available here. In the 'Sessions' section you'll also find details and a description of all the breakout sessions, divided among three parallel tracks: AWS Services & Live Demo, Enterprise & Security, and Big Data & Analytics.
Q: Do I have to register to attend the breakout sessions?
Once you've completed registration to attend the AWS Milan Summit, you'll receive a confirmation mail with all the details on attending the event. When you arrive at MiCo – Milano Congressi – you can complete registration and get your entrance badge. After the introductory keynote you can choose which breakout sessions you want to attend. No special registration is needed for the breakout sessions. Signing up for the AWS Summit will give you the opportunity to attend all of the sessions listed in the day's events.
Q: What is the AWS Summit Code of Conduct?
AWS expects all Summit participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors) to behave in such a way as to ensure a safe and productive environment throughout the entire event. AWS will not tolerate any form of harrassment, insults, or offensive behavior related to race, gender, sexual orientation or disability. Any attendees whose behavior AWS deems as offensive or discriminatory will be asked to leave the event immediately. Anyone witnessing such behavior is encouraged to contact an AWS staff member so direct action can be taken.
